
ENERGYLANDIA is the largest amusement park in Poland, offering dozens of attractionsthat are located in the area 26 hectares, designed for all ages, both children, adolescents and adults. The park is located in the town of Zator, on the border of the two largest agglomerations of the south, Silesia and Małopolska, less than half an hour from Katowice and Krakow, and less than 17 kilometers from Wadowice or Oświęcim.
Energylandia has been on the market for only a few years - however, the multitude of attractions, the highest level of service and the comfort of the Guests - meet the highest standards. The park annually visits thousands of tourists who want to experience entertainment at the highest world level.
Base System is the manufacturer of the most advanced on the Polish market Electronic Customer Service System ESOK. The system offered by the company provides comprehensive services for sports and leisure facilities (such as: water parks, swimming pools, stadiums, sports halls, fitness, skating rinks, etc.), ski resorts, rental companies, amusement parks, workplaces and parking lots.
Together with our partner Base System, we faced a big challenge which was expansion and modernization of existing IT infrastructure. With the huge and dynamic development of the park, we had to ensure full stability and reliability of the operation of all IT systems and full and smooth management of them, and at the same time prepare the network for the next investments planned by the investor.
IT infrastructure is based on reliable brand solutions DCN in the field of switching. These solutions allowed the Client to launch stable operating systems for the implementation of services provided at the facility and smoothly manage them. Due to the large development of the park, another challenge was to minimize the space needed in ICT cabinets.
We approached this issue from a design perspective and in consultation with Base System we designedGBC Photonics fiber optics, which contributed significantly to the allocation possibilities in the server room. All the solutions were connected through the highest class optical modules and fiber optic patch cords of the GBC Photonics brand.
Thanks to the implementation of the solutions provided by Salumanus, both in the field of switching and the organization of server racks, the teletechnical infrastructure of the facility has become fully integrated transparent, scalable and ready for future expansion.
