Salumanus at Connected Britain 2023
Salumanus will showcase innovative optical networking solutions at Connected Britain, which will take place at ExCeL in London on 20 and 21 September. Our experts: Łukasz Sukiennik, Andrzej Wojnar and Michał Owca will present the GBC Photonics Smart Recode Device (SRD), as well as xWDM systems and coherent modules. We invite you to stand 176.
Connected Britain is a prestigious forum for telecoms leaders in the UK market. The event provides an arena for discussion between key experts and decision-makers from the public sector. Its aim is to define how innovation and new regulations shape the digital vision of the country's future. Companies such as BT, Vodafone and Nokia, as well as representatives of local authorities and government institutions, have announced their participation in the discussions.
During the event, Salumanus will present some of its innovative solutions for improving and optimizing the network. The main topic will be the SRD programmer, thanks to which users can configure universal optical modules repeatedly, modifying their memory according to the relevant Multisource Agreement (MSA) standard. The device also gives you the ability to change the wavelength or channel of the tunable DWDM modules.
- During Connected Britain 2023 we will allow you to test SRD and configure modules with it - explains Michał Owca, product manager at Salumanus. - SRD allows independence and flexibility in the management of the warehouse of optical modules. It also represents a sustainable solution to the issue of e-waste in telecommunications. Instead of buying a different module for each application, operators can simply recode the devices they own.
The Salumanus booth will also showcase the latest 400G optical modules, transponders and muxponders, but also popular wave multiplication systems (xWDM). All of these solutions are designed to optimize the network towards faster and more efficient transmissions.
From 20 to 21 September, we invite you to the Connected Britain trade fair in London at booth 176.
