Marcin Bała as a speaker at NGON & 5G Transport

NGON & 5G Transport is one of the most important meetings of the optical communication industry in the world. It gathers the most influential experts in this field. In this edition, in addition to the topic of optical networks, issues related to data transport in 5G technology will be analyzed. Experts will discuss how to design the most efficient, cost-effective and future-proof network to meet the demands of 5G transport.

The speech of the President of Salumanus will be devoted to iPodWDM systems and coherent solutions. - IP over DWDM and coherent modules revolutionize the way we transfer data, offering increased capacity and flexibility. Although the technology has been available for some time, interest in it is currently growing, in the context of the need to reduce energy consumption and the search for the most efficient network solutions — says Marcin Bała.

During the conference, all 5G transport options will be discussed, including but not limited to: gray optics, wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) solutions and TDM-PON (Time Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Network). The topic of pluggable optics, the advantages of which operators want to apply to the emerging 5G transport networks, will also be discussed.
